1. About us
This online store is operated by Visit Bornholm ApS, Brogårdsvej 41, 3700 Rønne, Denmark, CVR 46221699. Email: contact@shop.visitbornholm.com. Telephone: +45 53 33 72 33.
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Visit Bornholm ApS, and “you” means the customer placing an order.
2. Scope and acceptance
By placing an order, you accept these Terms. They supplement, and do not limit, mandatory consumer rights under Danish law and any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence.
3. Orders and contract formation
You place an order by adding products to your cart and completing checkout. After you submit an order, we send an acknowledgement. A binding sales contract is formed when we confirm the order. We may reject or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, a price is clearly incorrect, fraud is suspected, or another legitimate reason prevents fulfilment. If payment has already been captured for a cancelled order, we will refund it without undue delay.
4. Products
Product images are illustrative. Colours may vary depending on your screen, and handmade or made-to-order products may vary slightly. Please review product descriptions, size guides, materials and care information before ordering.
Some merchandise is produced on demand by fulfilment partners, including Printful. Production on demand alone does not automatically remove a consumer's statutory right of withdrawal. The exception applies only where the product is made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you, or another statutory exception applies.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges and any other charges are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Card payments are handled in accordance with applicable Danish rules. Unless a lawful exception applies, the amount will not be captured before the goods are dispatched. For goods made specifically to your instructions, advance payment may be permitted where applicable.
6. Delivery
Delivery terms are described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Unless you have independently chosen a carrier not offered by us, the risk of loss or damage remains with us until you, or a person designated by you, receives the goods.
7. Right of withdrawal and returns
Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases, subject to statutory exceptions. Full details, including a model withdrawal form, are set out in our Returns, Refunds & Right of Withdrawal Policy.
8. Defective goods and complaints
For consumer purchases, Danish law provides a two-year right to complain about defects that were present, or whose cause was present, when the goods were delivered. This right cannot be shortened by agreement. If you complain within two months after discovering a defect, the complaint will always be considered made within a reasonable time.
Depending on the circumstances, available remedies may include repair, replacement, a proportionate price reduction or cancellation of the purchase. Remedies for defects must be provided without cost to the consumer where required by law.
Please contact us at contact@shop.visitbornholm.com and include your order number and, where relevant, photos of the product and packaging.
9. Intellectual property
Store content, including text, images, graphics, logos and design, belongs to Visit Bornholm ApS or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property law. It may not be copied or used commercially without permission.
10. Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, strikes or major transport disruption. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights. If delivery is materially delayed, you may have statutory rights to cancel.
11. Personal data
We process personal data as described in our Privacy & Cookies Policy.
12. Complaints, governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Danish law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. If you have a complaint, please contact us first. Further dispute information is available in our Legal Notice & Contact.
